INOX, in our efforts to support the community in which we live and work, is pleased to announce our recent donation of more than 3,200 combination entry/office locksets to Habitat for Humanity in Sacramento, California. This is in addition to our previous donations, which included more than 73,000 door hinges.
We worked in cooperation with Mr. Byron Watkins of ReStore to provide our sustainable stainless steel hardware, which supports both the local and worldwide goal of using sustainable building products.
Habitat for Humanity affords low-income families and those affected by natural disasters to find new hope in the form of affordable housing. In 1984, former U.S. President, Jimmy Carter and his wife Rosalynn became involved with Habitat’s goals and brought national visibility to this outstanding organization.

While school security became considerably more robust following 1999's Columbine High School massacre, the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, and the horrifying shooting spree at Sandy Hook Elementary, Unison feels it starts with basic safety. You need safe and secure door locksets to help the teachers protect their students.
We know our most valuable possession is our children. We want nothing but great education and a safe secure place to for our kids to learn. That's why Unison Hardware has started donating new commercial locksets to local schools to help with their overall security.
